Some cars have tinted wing mirrors that come standard with the car.
Anyway I hate being blinded in the old corsa B. Always blinded by cars OR FUCKING VANS with incorrectly adjusted headlights, whether that's head on, in the wing mirrors or the rear view mirror.
So is it legal to tint the wing mirrors and the rear view mirror to stop this problem? I know the rear view can be flicked to be a lot dimmer but I want say a 25% tint on the mirrors and rear view mirror.
Going to do it irregardless of whether it's legal, I just want to know if it is and if it'll pass an MOT like it.

I imagine you could get away with a slight tint but anything that would actually be useful, would probably be too dark in the day when they aren't getting direct light.
On the other hand I used to have a Jeep which had a coating on the wing mirrors that dimmed on a night. It was definitely a coating of some kind because it'd started to come off in places so there were spots that stayed clear but it was great, it was one of the things I really missed for a while after I sold it. Might be worth having a look into that, see if it's something that can be bought aftermarket or it may just be a Jeep thing.

It's not so much of a tint to reduce brightness but uses filters to reduce glare. They do work amazingly well but I would read up before you slap halfords tint vinyl all over the shop.
