When ever i start up safter the engine has cooled down it sounds like a tractor.
The noise comes from the manafold but as soon as i have warmed it up the noise stops.
Does the manafold need tightening up or have i ragged my engine too much??

It's most likely the gasket between the manilod & cat, is it a 12v? Mines has the same prob & wont go away & it's really pissing me off!

If it sounds like a tappety kind of noise but quite loud then you probably have a hole in the manifold. Otherwise as Miner says check the gasket.

Had manifold off today & at the very edge of the flange was pitting, most likely a casting defect, fixed now but could blow again as this will cause vibration between the flanges.
