whats the biggest altenator i can fit on my 1.0l 12v corsa 'b' 2000?
if anyone could tell me what car its from and what amp output it is, that would be great.

you can buy uprated ones, or get your current one uprated.
One from a corsa diesel is quite good and will fit, remember to uprate the battery too.

yeah was told to get an alternator from a 1.7 diesel im running two amps and alot of other gear -its best to have youre alternator checked first rather than just buy a bigger battery cause if it cant cope it will proberly blow

what do u want an uprated alternator for?
do u sit in car parks for hours with the stereo blarring?

i am gonna be running 2 batteries, one for sterio and the other for ...the car.
i'm going for a fairly big system, and dont want to mess the car electrics up etc etc.

if ur runnin 2 batteries, u need a diode between them by the way
