i will be fitting 16" 195/45 with ET 45, lowered about 45-50mm. what do the monkeys fitting this need to do? i presume they will need to re-track the front wheels, they wont need to adjust the brake bias cos it is in the brake line (1.2 16v) and is not affected by lowering (max/haynes says this, plus i have heard from lots of ppl with this car and smaller motors)
most of all, WTF is meant by the bolts in the arches? cos i have no clue, is it the rear arches that may need modding? do i get them to take the bolt out and glue the lining back in or grind the bolt down?
shall i do this as a precaution or only do this if they tyres/wheels rub (will i be able to hear if it rubs or will it not be so blatant?
cheers!

if your wheels are 7" diameter or less then the archs wont need modding at all. If wider they will.
put the stuff on and se how it goes m8 dont do work u dont need to.

i'm lowering 40mm at the weekend got Et42 16's 195/45/ and it rubs when i got a couple of people in the back and it aint even lowered yet so , gonna de-bolt the rear arches and glue the lining back, u will notice if it rubs.
