I got a written quote from liverpool victoria sayin that if i was to put a 1.6 engine in my 1.0l my premium would not change! You have to be 21 for a 2.0l!

there policies are fucked up, ive had to quote from them for a 2.0 turbo conversion and it went up about 90 quid. But ive heard so many different stories from people. I dont think they know themselves what there policy is.

all the insurance companies are underwritten by about 5 or so (maybe less) big companies, they are all brokers...insurance is a cartel and a huge rip off.

Insurance a Cartel? Try a victim of lawsuits and personal injury claims.

I spoke to a LV underwritter and they are not touching moded (engines, not sure on bodywork) cars anymore, they've lost a fortune on it.

Policy was always going to change when people were putting LET's into 1.0's for no premium increase.
