i want to put a neon lite in my boot and i was wondering if i can wire it up to the boot lite, so it comes on when the boot is open.
basically, cut the boot lite wires and attach these to the neon wires.
is it safe and can it be done??

easy peasy mate! i done it! i dint cut the wires! left the connectors on the end and just stripped the wire! then u can change back if required! 2 mins of a job! looks the part

Be careful to disconnect the light before you cut the wires if you do, because if you do and its on then it blows a fuse and alot of stuff is out of use!!!!!!

alll done. ive just disconnected the boot lite and wired it from there. ill see wot it looks like in the dark

just open your boot so the lites on then take out the fuse that powers it so it will never be live then u dont have 2 worry about shorting anything
