Click on the first topic... "Pod's, Panels and Cold Air = POWER"... it's bound to say in there somewhere.

if u reset ur ecu after doing mods like zorst and airfilters, the ecu will set itself up for the new air and fuel mixure, all u need to do is disconnect ur battery for about 1 hour, then start ur engine up again for about 30secs, dont rev it during this phase, and thats ur ecu setup for ur new mods.

apparently the ecu 'learns' the performance of the car, so when a change is made it has to re-learn it.
A flat spot is a hesatency is the rev range.

tbh I dont see why 'cold air feeds' are so advised on inductions kits on cars where the filter is near the front of the engine bay.
When the car is moving air will flow through where ever the opening of the feed is placed anyway, so the actual feed will just act as a restriction. Do you really think a 2" tube will really flow and direct much air anyway?
Sealing the filter away from the engine is where its at.

^^^^^^^^
that's the idea... more fuel and more air should mean more torque and power...

No. it will probably improve economy if this actually works. The management will realise that lots of hot air is entering the engine, will reduce the fueling and power and all will be dandy.

Thanks. If you knew how much air an engine sucked, compared to how much air a 'cold air feed' provided then you might change your mind. That or you would continue to believe and never question everything you hear......
