got a swr 1041 running off it, im only running the gain at plus 4 at the minute until the subs broken in, but doesnt meen i cant sort the rest of it out, i dont have a clue on what half the functions are for or what they do.
any help would be appreciated.

Well it does have a lot of things u can adjust but really i wudnt bother unless it sounds dodgy Kris!
It lets u set things like:-
Subsonic filter
Low Pass Filter
Phase
Time Correction
etc...

what is a subsonic filter?
apparently on the alpine us site there is a section where they give you the settings for maximum output, havent looked myself yet though.

Subsonic filter just sets the lowest frequency the amp will amplify, as standard its 5 hz i think.
BUT with a 10" like i have its frequency response only starts at 20hz ish so there is no point ampin 5 - 20hz at all.
The subsonic filter lets u not amp those frequencies basically.

Kris didnt you get a manual? Ive got two M500's with pretty much the same features and more so just list the things you dont understand and i'll tell you what to do or I can fax you the instructions to one of my m500's if you want...
