tried to follow the max power book but as it says some have speedo cables, and mine does, dont know how to remove it. has anyone changed theres with a speedo cable? and how do u do it?

Can you get the dials out far enough to get your fingers behind it? If you can, feel for where the speedo cable goes into the back of the housing, you should feel a metal clip that needs pushing toward the dials to release it.
If you can't get your hand behind, you will need to dissconnect the cable from the gear box and feed some slack through to enable you to get access to the back of the dials, if you see what I mean.
