I'm thinking of upgrading my car from a 1.6 16v to a 2.0 16v from a calibra. If i do this do i need to change the rest of my exhaust system? or can i still use the existing one off my 1.6?

u could your existing system from the downpipe back, but u'll need an adapter pipe as the calibra has a larger manifold & downpipe


using a smaller bore system rather than the original can increase torque low down but you lose out on top end

Sh*t!!!! i just found a dual exit backbox for £269 that'd look really nice as well! i've enquired about a dual exit custom exhaust from powerflow and they said it'd cost around £469!!

cheers fellas, if i got a custom exhaust made, what inch pipe would be idea to use? is it around 2-2.5inch?
