I did this the other day to my filter and was just wondering if anyone thought that it will help my engine, it feels slightly smoother in traffic and is not so reluctant to get going afterwards, but is it a good idea having it in there
Any thoughts???

yeah, I've done the same but couldnt fit the top of the airbox back on coz my pipercross is too big. seems to pull through the gears a hell of a lot better since i did it though, no noticable flat spots either. Defo recommend it

im gonna give that then, is it a tight fit for the pipercross to fit in the box? did you cut it up at all?

M4tt : -
Aint much of a tight fit if you've decided to leave the top of the air box off. Its simple as pie to do too

Gambit: - Aye, would have said so, the noise resonates round the box, sounds really good when flooring it and when going up hills lol, It's probs worth doing it just for the noise difference
