alright guys im thinking of spraying my centre console and the mfd cover along with the door holders etc inside the car. Do i need to sand them down first or do i just put primer straight onto them. Any advice is greatly apprecited cheers

You are better to sand them down first, get a much better finish. But you can use filler primer that will smooth it off with a few coates.

nice one mate. how much do u sand it down? wll it give a good finish once prayed i do i need to coat the paint with something. Cheers

Sand it down until its smooth as silk with inscrading grades of wet and dry - 1200 being the last you use for the finish, then use it wet to get it dead smooth. prime, then sand it again before you prime again, smooth, then top-coat it a few times then laquer it.

If I were you I'd learn as much as possible before your tempted to go spraying your car up - to save on resprays, sanding down runs and mistakes, and even buying replacement parts!
