if you get same spec as yours is now, no they are not bigger.
but if you get new calipers, then you can swap disks bigger too.
but its still lot better to brake, i have ebc grooved disks and green pads, lot better than standard. fading isnt a problem anymore.
still wished to go something like hi spec 285 or so...
but lot better than standard

they sure do but you have to change calipers for that.
dont go for too big cos might get that spongy feeling...

1.4 standard disc size is 236x20 anyways, so they would be the same size.
You cannot get bigger discs unless u change the calipers.

if you want to change your disk size then i advise getting hold of Astra GSI/GTE setup these are 256x24mm and the best value for money for upgradin your brakes
u need the calipers (& maybe the caliper carriers?)
also, when buying aftermarket disks, stay away from grooved disks, they are all well and good looking but you'll go thru a set of brake pads in no time, due to the fact that the grooves are there to deglaze the top layer of the pad (it does this by cutting it away basically) anyhow glazing will only occur under extreme usage such as track days, if anything get cross drilled pads as these help disapate heat quicker & therefore prevent fading
greenstuff pads are also shite, they are kevlar based & therefore eat thru disks
get Ferodo DS, Mintex 1144 or Pagid Fast Road pads
