I've done a search and read some stuff, but i'm still confused. Got an X14XE (16v), where is the valve? Do I have to get under the car to get to it? Cheers

The rubber inlet pipe coming from the air filter has a huge split in it so that maybe the cause of the high reving so i have ordered a new 1 and will fit it and hopefully it will do the trick. i will get my car serviced in a week or 2 anyway 2 make sure its ok over the winter.

before youll get the new one put some thick tape in to it. shold be a cure for the time being, otherwise could suck in some s*it...

pipe is almost definately causing high revs...

i used some duct tape to cover the hole because of how the pipe sits it has nipped the slit together so any shit that could get in would have to be very small but ive duct taped it to make sure. cheers for ya help.
