2nd hand put of astra 2litre 8v's and 16v, the rev indicator is slightly different on both 8v is a curve with a peak, the 16v is a smooth curve

Not exactly correct. They are from the Mk2 Astra GTE, both the 1.8 and 2.0 litre models. Its also a common misconception that the 8v had the peak meter and the 16v the curved. I've owned a 1.8 8v with a curved meter and a 2.0 16v with the peaked one.
