When i copy some text from a website and go to paste it into work a box comes up with 'Out of Memory'.
What can i do to fix this problem?

close down all programs except internet explorer and word then try, or restart you computer and shut down all prgrams except word and internet explorer

ive tried that before and my comp just crashes. Any idea what could be taking up all the memory? And how i can delete some?

It won't be an actual out of memory situation unless you are copying more than 4 meg (which the clipboard is limited to). Its unlikely this is the case.
Its probably a corrupt file, the Normal.dot template usually causes problems when it gets corrupted. Dlete it, Word will recreate it automatically, see if that fixes it.

Click on the Start button, then Search, then Find Files or Folders, and in there type in normal.dot and make sure your C:\ drive is selected, it'll search for it, when it comes up in the results list, just highlight it by clicking once on it, then press the (little) delete button on your keyboard!
