how much wuld extra wuld it cost me to insurance a 2.0 16v engine from my gsi wuld u say? i pay 1815 quid now fully comp on my gsi im 20 and with no no claims and ive had a crash how much do u guys pay on here?

If you need to ask you prob wont be able to afford it...and judging from what your already paying were talking a lot as...the GSI is what group 11 insurance...the new group for the 2 litre conversion comes from the donor car..so what 15-16? so I reckon your talking £2500-3000 minimum.

a gsi 2.0 is about group 15 as it gets classed the same as the donor car it came out of

get it from a GSI cav saloon then as they like saloons more than anythin else cos they're 'family' sensible cars!!
cant get quote on GSi astra but they'll quote me on GSi cav saloon, wont quote on sri cav hatch but will on saloon, dosy bassys!!!
