right im on a low budget..as i looked at JL audio and thats gonna cost a fortune..wondering whats a good budget amp+sub combo?
my mate has just bought the JBL 2000 amp 220rms and the sony pentagon sub 350 rms 1200 peak..it was very loud, but i hear that sony are crap....is it ok to go with JBL...£130 gets me the JBL2000 amp and the GT4 12 sub 250 rms? any good?
also been looking at the phoenix gold sub and amp..the 1 with the blue illumination.. is that good....
open to recommendations

OH and in answer to your question I have no idea  - but the one with BLUE illumination sounds cool I want it  - How much??

I'd probably be tempted to get the alpine - i had a S -type which you can pick up for 100 with a box plus an amp to go with it (200RMS) and it sounded excellent compared to the likes of JBL, Kenny.....
I prefered the sound from it to ma brothers Rocky Fosgate 200RMS sub.
You could get a cheap alpine amp - the new class D FLEX series mono block 200 RMS @ 4 ohm ( perfect for the sub) for about 110-120...
that'll be about 200 all in plus 30 for wires
