Please, people with cones or induction kits state what your set up is, and whether it works absolutely fine - i.e. you have no flatspots or degrade in performance, or if it's just poor.

got piper x cone on mine with cold air feed.works fine no flatspots and picks up loads better than it used too.

i voted just cone, as you know mine sits right above the wheel arch anyway so gets shit loads of cold air. after trying all combos on my td ive decided the cone filter is the best one for my engine.

a mate of mine used a huge catering coffee can for a heat shield on his K&N with a cold air feed, hes sealed it up with mastik so it always sucks cold air in. it works beautifully, and his response has improved loads, the sound is awesome too. This is on a corsa 1.4 8v.
Im thinking of doing the same thing to my 1.2 8v soon

ive got a cone n air feed. works well in the winter months but is a dog in warmer weather, say 30+ deg C.

Cone + cold air feed + Alluminium heat sheild = works well..
I'm happy wi it anyway..check garage for pic and rr graph..

Think I may get a green cone then, with CAF , and heat shield.
Keep hearing so many stories about them being crap, but you hardly ever read the success stories.
Atleast the poll shows lots of successes
