A friend with a 51 plate 1.2 Corsa wants to fit a back box off a 1.4 Corsa C Elegance or Sri, both have a larger squarish tailpipe and look much better than the downturned peashooter std on the 1.2. HE has no money for an aftermarket box and can get the 1.4 back box 2nd hand for 15 quid, only done 1500 miles.

Will it bolt onto a 1.2 system. Anyone know ?

yes mate it will go straigh on, i got a deal wit vauxhall to put one of and ex show sri that they had done up wit quest motorsport. So the they put the sri back box on my 1.2 sxi for free

he shud just buy a nice simple tail stainless tail pipe cover and bolts it on but get 1 that will look realish

This one came off a car which had one of those twin pipe Irmscher jobbies on it, think it was an Elegance.

The thing is those Irmschers are over 200 quid aren't they, so £15 for a small cosmetic upgrade seems a bargain !"
