or you could stick it free air for a few hours on a sine wave generator. Cant remember the recommended freq. though.

austin was chatting about the rubber that surrounds the cone. When there new there stiff, so your suppose to wear em in abit to loosen them up Caining them when stiff can cause all sorts of things, can even put a hole in em. Its the same with hifi speakers...took me about 2 months to wear my mission's in when i got them 10 years ago...so

i found a program on the internet that generated sine waves. U reckon its worth recording that to a CD and leaving it on repeat for a while to try and break them in? i know it wont be as good as a proper signal generator, but still...? Im still waiting for my stuff from the states, been 5 weeks now

what speakers you got langey?
My old man works in the sound level industry so i can get sine wave gens no prob...well borrow one Although mate, it really does annoy the fucks outta ya after a few mins  so playing it for 4hrs straight (or what ever) is gonna be a nightmare.
