Needs more RAM.
To be honest I don't like Packard Bell. If you want a proper laptop get a Dell.

cant see it says session timed out
eitherway mate, i would stay away from pc world personally, all a bunch of cowboys. Go straight to the manufactor, ie: if its a sony, go to sony's website etc Also try, John Lewis, they might be a tad expensive, but they are great people
Although it all depends how much you wanna be spending on one? Although have you thought about a mac? there nice lappy's, although ive only used a mac lappy for a brief moment and there nice. Although i use macs all the time in the studio and there great bits of kit

cheers mate
one thing too look out for mate is the use of laptop cpu's and desktop pc cpu's. Both intel and AMD do cpu's (processors) for laptops, which have power saving features and use less power and as well as generating less heat etc etc However, alot of manufactors use desktop pc cpu's, and therefore battery life it cut short and they produce shite loads of hit - i know of a few people who have had problems with this, having to take it back etc, and to behonest there isnt alot that can be done
Also, there are help warnings about using laptops too, dont put them on your lap! there was a case a few months ago about a bloke who used his lappy on his lap for a trip and he got burns on his little fella (thanks to the cpu heat) and caused all sorts of weird burning shite just a little warning mate lol

...some say intel are better and more stable and you will find all of the computer industry will use them etc because of this. However, AMD's are cheaper but they run slower than a intel but still do intel speeds (if you get what i mean, ie: AMD 2800xp, is similar to an intel 2.8GHz, however the AMD will run at 2GHz etc) and personally ive never had a problem with them
But the compaq is smaller and lighter but better, has 40Gb of hard disk space instead of 20 (compared to the PB lappy) and has 512mb ram compared to 256mb ram. Also has a better graphics card (made by ATI ) and it doesnt shared the main memory either (i believe) unlike the packard IE: if you set it to use 64mb of ram for the graphics, it would leave you with 448mb of ram for your computer etc.
Personally i would go with the compaq mate However, go to your nearest store and have a play with both of them and see which one you like etc
