How much am i looking to pay for just a decent graphics card and are they easy to fit. im only really wanting it to play a couple of games nothing like farcry just little games

whats the spec of the rest of your system & what games will you be wanting to run?

no point in suggesting a card which may be too powerful for your computer or not enough for the games...

well i bought rollercoaster tycoon 3 yesterday and iwont run without a upgraded graphics cause i only have a strandard one so thats the only type of games i play oh and fm2005

I'd say a decent enough middle of the road performance then £130 with get you a Radeon 9800 Pro. If this is too much look for a 9600 Pro. Most people opt for a Nvidia or Radeon Card.

Overclockers UK is a good site. The only one I know will give an exhange even if have added an aftermarket fan and your card later breaks.

Exactly what I did, got a Saphire 128Mb Radeon 9800PRO which had an XT core...

then flashed an XT BIOS & got myself a £300 card for half the price

I've jus got a sapphire 9600 pro with 256mb i overclocked it a bit but am not sure how far to go, I'm well impressed with the quality

Usually need to take off the fan and look at the core, or use a detect program. If its an R350 core, you cant flash a 9800XT bios to it. If its an R360 core, you can flash it, muchos betteros
