name some just want a rough idea of how much cheap alarms are, think i will be having a go at fitting myself so simple alarms preferably.

I could do you a Clifford Arrow 5 fully fitted for no more than £170.

RRP is around £250.

another 40-50 ontop of the Clifford RRP.... but I was offering it fitted for under £170, so that'll be an extra £130 for the Toad.

After just a really simple cheap alarm that i can install myself thanks for offer though but cnat spend that much.

what cat you after?

alarms can be as little as £30, dpends on what you want it to do.

(the £30 price tag was from an argos one btw )

To be honest mate, if you're not willing to spend more than about £100, I'd suggest you invest in a decent disklock, and revert to leaving your glovebox open, with no valuables on show!

microscan. go off every 5 minutes but you can be sure no fucker is getting into your car

tbh you can get some good alarms so cheap now, you may aswell pay some1 to do it for you, so that you have a warranty on it.

I want it to beep loud (or do the max and paddy get back you bastad i'll break your legs thingy) when someone breaks in, Prbably wont be able to declare it to insurance and that, ---------

Easier it is to take off the better for me for when it breaks

you can get a basic toad or lazer line of fleabay new for aroun the £50-60 and most traders will supply you with a data sheet of wire locations and colours foc

just get it fitted somewhere - local auto electrician. for the money you cant beat them trust me.

my mate has the £60 one on a nova, and you cant go anywhere near it lol

lol that the one that has perimetre guard, wouldnt want that going off all the time though it would do my head in and attract any chav thiefs attention (not that they'd be able to get near lol

didnt know it was possible to get one this cheap do that microscan have sensors in the car or just opening door sensors as i have no clue about alarms?
