how much are freeview boxes?? Gonna buy one tomorrow i think. i hear that some places ask questions when you buy it, like adress, tv licence bill payer etc etc, and some places dont. id rather not disclose any info and just buy the box. any ideas where to buy?

Why would they ask questions?

Tell them to PGTF.

Might be worth having a play with one first, as although they're all essentially the same channels, the guides and other software are very different.

I've got one built into my Sony TV and it's an awesome menu system -- I know Sony do a seperate freeview box too I've used cheap PACE ones and their menus sucked.

My old Philips one I bought when I was living in Glasgow, was purchased from Comet somewhere in that God-forsaken city, they never asked me for address details.

Presumably if you bought one from say Tesco's, they won't either?

I've got Freeview built into my Samsung widescreen TV but I don't use it any more as I've got Sky now!

Everywhere will ask you for your addressm otherwise they are breaking the law!

The information will only be sent to the tv licencing agency, so just give them your address, its really not that big a deal!
