Please don't move this to geek day. Nobody of any usefulness actually goes in there, plus i'll delete this as soon as I have the answer
I'm looking for blank DVD-R's with white printable top and silver underside.
That's it
I can find CD-R with white top/silver dye but I want DVD discs.
Cheers

I've already looked in the shops listed in geek day.
I've searched the forums.
I've looked on ebay.
I've phoned a friend.
They do exist, question is where.

I know a lot of people just post first things first on here, when the answer most of the time is quite apparant if they do a search.
I on the other hand have searched the net, forums, ebay and anywhere else I can think of and this place is my last resort, which I was pondering on whether to ask or not because I knew I'd probably get a proceeding 10 replies full of bollocks and pointing out rules, which is neither constructive, nor beneficial to my cause.

headers are pre-burnt
DONT play in everything, and are not more compatible...
I've ALWAYS had troubles with -R discs in various DVD players, other computers, etc, aswell as issues burning them, as have a good few of my friends...
+R discs I've only ever had 1 bad burn, and that was due to a scratched disc, also my pals are now using +R's and they too are having absolutely no issues...
+R's also play in every drive & DVD player I can find to try them in... something the -R's NEVER did!

I can assure you -R were more compatible and unless compatibility has went backwards they must still be.
Everybody I know uses -R, the guy in the thread the last time it was mentioned backed it up as well.
You must have been using dodgy media or the few dvd players -R didn't work in back in the day.
Bread, I'm not sure if you can get silver underside dvd's.
I've personally not seen any and the die is usually green or pink etc.
Would be very very easy to make good looking copy's if the bottom was silver and you could print on the top wouldn't it

He wants white on the top so it can be printed on and silver on the bottom so it looks like a real dvd.
