Ive got a haynes maunal. However where is the negative trigger on the haynes manual. btw wots a cdl microswitch? Basically m8 I've got a remote central lock conversion kit. and need to wire up ECu. However Im not 2 familiar with central locking but wouldnt mind. Save me a bitta dosh.
Can n e 1 help me. You'll need 2 rite out an idiots guide with me. Im a novice

Ok i'll break it down even further. As you are well aware, there is a black and a red wire going 2 C/L ECU. (I know red is perm. feed). Now on my remote ECU it is a 10 pin module and there are 4 wires which consist of : -
Black = earth
Red = +12V live
Brown = Parking Lamp
Brown = Parking Lamp
Now I have 6 other wires which are meant 2 b attached to the C/L loom. They are: -
Orange
White
Yellow
Black/Orange
White
Black Yellow
Now the shop I just bought it off doesnt know exactly know what each wire is used for and the instructions do not highlight it either! So r there any auto-electricians out there who know how 2 find out what each wire does?

remote central locking is easy to install the first 4 are easy
Black = earth
Red = +12V live
Brown = indicator
Brown = indicator
the next 6 are a Bit harder 3 of them will be the unlock and the other 3 will be lock
also the output of the 6 wires will change depending how the alarm/cdl is programed
out of the 3 wires for the lock/unlock side 1 will be ground 1 will be the lock/unlock pulse and the other will be not used
what is the make of the locking unit/alarm it should be in the instructions the reason there are 6 wires are for universal fittment to diffirent types of central locking

Thats the problem. It doesnt say what each of the 6 wires does
I bought the new ecu off a company called LMF Vauxhall. It is a universal conversion kit. There is no Manufacturers name on ECU unit or instructions but the relays on the circuit board read SANYOU. I have been told it is a negative pulse ECU unit. On the relays in the ECU. It says SANYOU SRD-S-112DA (part no) dunno if this means n e thing 2 u.
Basically in a nutshell buddy, R there any devices/tools can be used 2 identify each wire m8?

tell u wot m8 have a look @ this. It has diagrams of the relay in my ECU...
Click Here
My relay is a SANYOU SRD-S-112DA
and the ecu model is CL-Aa (presumably from SANYOU)
Also heres the ECU pin/wire order
1-6 C/l Loom
1. Orange
2.White
3. Yellow
4. Black/Yellow
5. White
6. Black/Yellow
7.Brown. = This wire splits into 2 other wires. 1 pink, 1 brown. The pink wire links to the siren and the brown to parking lamp
8. Brown = Parking Lamp
9. Red = 12V Live Feed
10. Black = Ground
cheers

it should be straight forward enuff if you have a multimeter to work the wires out its a bit hard to work out without seeing it
out of the wires 1 to 3. 1 will be common (poss the white one) 2nd one will be normaly closed and the 3rd one will be normaly open this will be the same on wires 4-6
when you press the button on the fob the normaly open will become closed and activate the central locking then go back to normaly open after 1-3 seconds

Ok here's the next tricky question.
On my C/L loom inside my car the black/yellow looom connects drivers switch to ECU. This I know.
No if u floow me the 1st three wires on my ECU loom go 2 the drivers door motor rite? (Red and brown) and the second lot to the Passenger door motor? (Brown and white?
Is this correct?
Ok assuming this is correct m8. Where does the black yellow wire go? (eg does the kit need 2 b connected 2 drivers switch)?

i dont understand what you want to do
lets take the lock side first (wires 1-3) one wire goes to ground (earth)(poss white) the second wire is going to the lock wire on the cdl unit behind the ecu and the 3rd is not used
the unlock side of thing is the same except the unlock wire goes to the unlock wire on the cdl unit
edit.
I have installed 9-10 remote locking units I cant understand what your trying todo as the unit only takes around 10-15 mins to install with a max of 8 wires that need connecting all the wires you need to get at are in the drivers footwell
theres no need to go inside the drivers door at all (unless your trying to remote deadlock the car)
if you can take some pics of the unit i may able to work out the cables for you

easy job todo its negtive pulse
lock --- brown\red
unlock ---brown\white
the cdl module is located behide the ecu but its easyier to tap into the door loom infront of the ecu(saves taking the car apart to much
next...........

OK here's a problem. Just wired up the ECU to the C/L loom
RED to 12V
Yellow and Yellow/Black to earth
Red/Brown to Lock signal (white wire)
Brown/White to unlock Signal (white/black)
and it is still not working?
What do u think could be the problem?
Below is a hyperlink to wiring and fitting manual.

Would very much appreciate n e 1's helps. This thing has bin pissing me off 4 ages!!

OK just tested it out. the ECU module is making a clicking nose so its acknowledging the remote however the motors r not firing the locks!!!!
Whats wrong?? R u sure. Its a negative trigger.
Also btw, doesnt the microswitch needed 2 b connected as well?

its negtive trigger and you dont need to wire it to the microswitch the clicking is the relays so it working
Is the locking working on the key ?
the cdl unit is behind the main ecu trace the cables you have taped into back the the cdl unit theres a few brown/coloured wires mak sure you have the right ones
what reg is the corsa ?? if it an early early one the colour may well be different
edit. checked the info i have here and its the same colours
all i can think is you have a bad ground some where

u may b write about the ground. ive just noticed the fuse on the wire for the open signal from the ECu keeps blowing . If its a bad earth. how can I resolve it?

find a spare screw hole and a screw that fits and take any paint off the metal around the hole

will i have 2 check the brown/white wire from the ECU 2 the motors to check 4 damage. cuz the fuse is only blowing on the Open signal fuse and not the clsoe signal or the 12V wire?

sounds like you have the wrong wire for the unlock to cause the cdl fuse to blow

Yep double checked the wiring. it was wired wrong, however it's still not working even though the correct wiring is in place . Whats happening. The ecu module is working OK just no activity from the locks on the doors at all? I know its universal kit but do u think perhaps the ecu is incompatible with CDL motors inside the doors?

it should be all the remote locking unit is doing is shorting the lock/unlock down to earth (negitive pulse) easy way to test it is get a bit of wire and with the car unlocked short the lock wire to earth if it works you have a bad ground on the remote locking unit or "ecu"
the other thing to check is the pulse timing on the "ecu"
if all esle fails redo the earthin(ground)
