I have decided im going to modify my standard air box and swap it back over for my air filter i have on now.

Ive looked at the tutorials/threads relating to this, but was wondering.
Is it possible to just put a cold air feed directly into the box as apposed to drilling it and placing it in the general direction of the box

Would this be any different?
Is it possible?
Is there any point?

And finally, if so, any pics or this or of any better ideas would be great

Thank a doo

Theres already a cold air feed going to the air box so you can definatley mod it to flow more air.

im not really too bothered about my car sounding what ever it sounds like, i just want it to be a lil more responsive

this is why i thought i could just put a drect feed INTO the box, save drilling more than one hole and therefore eliminating as much of the sound as possible?

is this so

Oh, and my current air feed for my induction kit comes from the back of my grille and leads up to my filter.

people say put it at the bottom of the bumper, near the splitter does it matter?

would mine be ok staying behind the grille?
