AMD Athlon 2800XP Barton @ 2.5Ghz
Geforce 7600GS AGP @ 460/900
1GB DDR RAM @ 195mhz

all of that cost me the pricely sum of 80quid equivalent. and it plays all the new games just perfectly

Steve, you are probably right. i guess the data on MIPS and FLOPS is calculated for single core. Xenon runs at 6400MIPS, but get this, the latest QX6700 Intel quad core manages 61,119MIPS over 3 times the speed of the PS3's Cell processor

yeah there is talk at the moment about Fusion. which is a GPU and CPU sharing a common on-die locale, and sharing mega fast L1 and L2 caches. some in the know are saying that this is the next big thing in high powered gaming machines.
At the moment, quad core introduction is gonna be late 2007 however, they plan to move to 0.45micron technology and looking at pushing clock speeds above and beyond 6ghz by then.

i always hated that, especially on the newer gfx cards. Little 60mm fans that used to annoy the fcuk out of me Then there was the 120mm fan spinning nice and quietly on the processor making no noise at all.

Get some watercooling on there for some peace and quiet

If networks not allowed to modify code how come you guys buying ad serving products?
Didn't you get kicked out for that or you negotiate with the network? Just wonder.

My personal opinion: If you do sell ad inventory on your own then you do need it, if you work with the network why would you even want it? Combine 2-3 networks together?
I see no point here my self.
