aren't they having problems getting the 60nm chips to replace the current 90nm?
Eitherway, heard it's going to a bit cheaper than the current 360 due to this

ive been reading that its either a fake or a prototype that will never happen, and microsoft were supposed to be releasing a special hdmi cable. i really cant see ms doing this when the 360 has only been out for a year.
unless they are planning on exchanging every 360 out there for 1 of these

Even if that happens to be a fake they'll still be bringing out the 65nm ones soon.

if its true which i doubt, although the 65mn ones are confirmed, i cant see it being any cheaper or more expensive and no it wont make any difference.
well apart from running cooler.

if it was to be released i can see a lot of 360's needing to be replaced all of a sudden.

going to 65nm means it's cheaper to produce, as well as running cooler, so it'll filter down to the consumer (ie us) - that's the idea behind it, as MS are trying to undercut sony.
Though it's the first time i've heard about the hdmi port on the back of the 360 - isn't a hdmi cable coming out? Saying that, component/vga cables for the 360 will see you to 1080i before bandwidth becomes a problem (and 1080p60 will be along time coming)

another rumor ive heard is that the v2 will be the price of a premium pack now, the v1 premium will come down to the same price as a core and the core system will drop in price even more.
and there should be a hdmi cable for the v1 premium, and hopefully the 120hd will work with ours aswell

I take it hdmi ports are an essential now the 360 has them then.
Although it wasn't a big deal on the ps3.

I dont understand all this.
I have no problems with them advancing the console though, even if mine will be old hat. I have no issue so long as mine continues to work.
