There is an employee using proxy websites to view website which are blocked.
We only have a low range sbs server 2003 and no isa installed.
Im currently blocking some websites from the vigor router, but hes getting passed this. Does anyone know how i can help stop him going vai proxys?

if he is breaking company policy by looking at restricted websites and you know who he is, just bring the law unto him.

Just screenshot him doing it, and report it. Or block the proxy he is using.

You could always unplug the internet cable from the back of his PC?

no, we are not a huge company, only 30 PCs here.
I very rarely get called to come and sort one out.

Personally I would discipline the member of staff rather than spend time on an IT solution.

If he's using "proxy websites" then surely technically he's not doing anything wrong as he's viewing sites that aren't blocked by the filter?
Surely the answer is to just add the "proxy websites" he's usint to the blocked list
