Well whilst looking for a new pc yesterday i had the chance to have a go on the PS3 & Xbox 360. I've come to the conclusion that I'm not too sure if i like either. I was playing some racing game on the PS3 not sure wht it was called you could choose between motorcross bike,4x4's and cars  must say graphics are top notch. As for the 360, i was playing Sonic, and i wasnt that overly impressed i was runnning aroun and my eyes started to ache after a while trying to follow him where he & tails were going. Maybe if i had a differnt game that i actually liked i would probably like the xbox 360. But i bought my new pc and its the muts nuts, its Acer (don't know what people will say about them but we got acer pc's at work and they seem to be ok), Its a slimline pc, Ł460 i payed for it, good spec on it (will update later when i get home) it was either this one or a Phillips one for Ł599 and the only difference was it had faster processor which im not that bothered about.

EDIT; 
exactly the same but without the moniter (as i had a monitor already) but its only 15" widescreen but whewn im all sorted im considering a 19" or 22" moniter, any suggestions?

sonic and motorstorm are not the best games to make a decision
Play something like PGR3 or gears of war on 360 and F1 on PS3 then decide
i want a wii

where did i say COMPARE you chump
I said play SOMETHING LIKE GoW on 360 or PGR3, and something like F1 on PS3 and least it will give him a taste of what EACH one is like. he cant compare unless both have the same game running.

now now ladys, no arguing please i suppose that i cant really compare the game consoles by the games thats my fault but the size of them aswell blimeey the ps3 is huge, and fugly

i never said compare mate.
Just go and play a few decent games on each GoW being a good show for the 360. F1 etc for the Ps3. then weight up the costs and which you prefer.
if you buy a 360 get premium though with live, its awesome
