brought a xbox 360 on sataday with gow, pretty much completed it, think i was on the last bit, accidently tapped the box with my foot casusing it to fall on its side very softley as items broke its fall. It may as well have been a lawnmower blade, its completley scrated the disc making it unplayable.
In my eyes what a fucking stupid desighn for a console

i dident kick it, i raised my leg extramly slowly and caught it in the prosses.
its hard to miss the fucker when its the size of a small skyskcraper

should fo laid it flat then problem solved give the disc a good clean my cod3 is like this after a certain 6yr old decided to put 2 discs in the drive and kill my 360 it dont load 1st time naymore have to wipe it each time then works fine

yup, a guy in my work, his boy had it standing up and it fell over, when he got the disc out it had a big burnt ring on the disc,
I had a 360 for a week n sold it, playstation all the way!

i just throught mabe it would be a bit more stable, or wouldent fuck up the games if it did happen to fall over, wich imo can happen very easiley.
I carnt falt the actul console its self or the games, just very pissed of that thats happend

well dont drop kick it and it would have been fine, what do you expect.
its a delicate complex piece of machinery if its dropped, falls off something it stands to reason something will get damaged.
i dont think when microsoft were desinging the product making it shock resistant ect figured greatly in there concept.
be more carefull in future simple.

Chump have you played on on the PS3? its design is shoot. CD tray last about 20mins, Controllers battery packs ARE NOT replaceable,
You even have to plug the 'wireless' controllers in to recognise them FFS
That would happen to any CD/DVd player. dont be such a clown in future

aparantly theres problems with the wirelss controller, in that it drops connection regularly during play

Add: it was alraedy at ground level (carpet level) i dientet drop it from the top of the house or out.
