yes a clock that tells the time etc that sits above the heaters in the centre

I get what you mean now 
I'm not sure if all the specs have looms including the plugs for the MFD.

Only ever really been in GSI's and Sports so i wouldn't know.

Pretty sure there may have been some that didn't have it but i would have thought the loom would still be there.
Ali can you take a pic of your dash? could be worth taking it apart and having a look for the plug.

yeh there are a few of the base spec ones without one - my mates 1.2 trip doesn't have an mfd and I'm sure i've seen a few merits without one.

i was thinking of selling it and getting a newer corsa but its only done 52k on the clock n insurance is still sky high for me

Don't need to worry about pics now, just get yourself an MFD and then start ripping your dash out to find that plug

is there anywhere that shows how i can fully take out my heater control panel i got most of it moved but the bottom wouldnt move so i couldnt see if i had a wire there or not

If you mean the fascia around the heater control etc, i don't think you need to take that off to get the centre console out, as i don't remember removing this last time, once the screws are removed it can take some force to slide it out, Taking mine apart again tomorrow so if you havn't done it by then i might have more info for ya
