fuel pump relay, it sends a signal to the injectors, it may click and fuel the rail but on these engines the relay does more than just that

i have had this problem on some fords mainly focuses and mondeo's found it to be the cam position sensor breaking down. only when it was warm it worked all ok. also could be soemthing like plug to be honest, have you checked them to see whatthey are like?

checked all plugs etc all seem fine.
the cam sensor was a bit crudded/old so thats why we're changing it.
lambda also seems fine
well confused.
only prob is we dont know for certain because the car wont talk to the computerfor diagnostics so we're just throwing parts at it
