im thinking of changing my engine from the 1.4 8v sri, to the 2.0 8v.

Can anyone please give me advise on what to look out for...and also what extra parts do i need.
Ill be doing all the work my self so as much info as possible please.

What shafts etc

Pretty sure theres a 2.0 8v in Llandudno, black on cav slabs.

From what i've heard they're not slow

If your gna do it try get the sri 130 engine there best

22 spline corsa gsi shafts and Cavalier MK2 1600 Inner CV Joints

gona phone them later on see what they have....im hoping to complete the conversion without paying a bomb..

how much do you think it will cost in the end?

That is the complete kit mate You will just need to get some corsa gsi shafts oh and an engine and box

picking up the engine on the 27th...will have the shafts by then

Hopefully get the new engine in by the new years

You are upgrading the breaks etc 2?

Make sure you get eveything with the engine,box, loom,ecu,airflow etc

Very easy conversion to do mate good luck with it

ill be putting some 256mm brakes?
look at the for sale section....2.0 8v engine there...thats the engine

Lol well do they come with the cv's as on each shaft you have an outer and an inner cv, inner cv goes in2 the g/box (but you need those ones i said b4) and the outer cv goes in2 the hub you will need the corsa gsi ones

Most new shafts come complete with new cv's but you will have to change the inner ones

I would check to see if the shafts are complete or not b4 buying

aaah right ok...i think ive got it.

I asked for the gsi shafts complete and said its for a 2.0 8v conversion and he said this is perfect. since he's used this for his before
