Head gasket is the most probable cause, check your oil and coolant.

Check around the head for oil or water.

Also take your oil and coolant caps off and if theres a whitey mayo substance.. Then yeah, its your HG 99% of the time

Ummmm, i would say coolant would be the most obvious one to check! That first, then 2ndly make sure the fan is kicking in too

True, does your fan come on when it gets close to 100degrees?

probably 10w40.
where's the red line (temp) on a corsa?
running over 100deg might not necesarily be an issue, providing the system can maintain the pressure. the water wont boil under pressure. if the light comes on, then obviously be concerned.

Its illegal

Seriously, do you know what can happen if you don't top an engine up with Oil? TBH if the oil isnt topped up then i'd hazard a guess that your coolant is low. Then theres the condition of everything else.

also what condition is the rad in?
i borrowed a mates saxo that was over heating and that was partly because the rad was rotten and had less than half of the cooling fins.
