Hi,
I am thinking about getting some undercar neons for my car.
What is the best to go for, neons or LED ones?
I've heard that the neons break quite easily but with the LED ones if a bulb goes then you will have to replace the whole tube?

I had to replace my ones twice and still busted, even they were bendable ones. The module that is connected to the lights were started to smoke. So i wasted £99 for nothing, about 6 months ago. Since then no more lights.

If you want to do it, go for it don't let anyone put you off. Not my cup of tea tbh, but if you were to do it go for neons, not LED's.
LED's look tacky, neons look less tacky giving a nice even 'glow'.

i got the job in a boz ones off neoquip.com, 8 months ago, still going strong, though you cant get the rear tube on the back due to the spare wheel hanging down, there are alternatives though
nothing rong with neons

Are those one neons or the LED ones? Have any of you had to get a heavy duty battery to be able to power them?

I woudn't have thought you'd need a heavy duty battery to power 4(?) neons.

Well I just didn't know whether my battery would be able to handle it as I've got a 10 inch sub and amp in one then a Kenwood powerslide amp as well as 6 x 9's, front speakers, stereo, neon lights in the footwells. My battery is only a 12V which looking on the neons they are 12V lol!
