Is it just Sky Premier or other channels too?
Dish might be unaligned?

rang them told me its 65quid for an engineer to come out!
fuck that its obviously them at fault
just rang again and they did a system check, and then told me i was getting a poor signal. meaning dodgy dish or dodgy cables
seems strange how quite a few people over the past month have had the same fault.

I've got a Sky engineer coming out today to look at the same problem.
I kicked off about the £60 call out fee and got it for free.
Will let you know how we get on, other channels signals can be shit too at the mo

Why don't u do your own signal test. Make sure it's low. Then move it about see if you can better it.

digitalspy and avforums suggest it coudl be a frequency issue (ie somethign diturbing it), try Bio, Bio +1 and History and History +1 - they all run on same frequency
if not, they all say its an engineer out tbh!

well after them telling us there is definatly a fault with our cables or dish and that we would need to get an engineer out to confirm it, then pay for new stuff. which we didnt bother doing
it magically started working again

Mate had this problem but with his music channels. Was fine until he used his home phone and the picture would go fuzzy and if you used the handset within a certain radius of the sky dish it would lose signal altogether. Simple solution, pull the phone lead out the back of sky box, bingo, works fine!

Check your signal is all good. You might find that its not great and if its on the limit weather can affect it and you can drop out on certain channels.

That will only back fire on you when Eck retaliates by slapping you with his schlong! Its pretty big by all accounts, would probably be like being smacked round the face with a sledge hammer!
