As title, iphone peeps, have you jailbroken your phone, or not?

Reasons why you did, or why you didnt?

Thinking about doing mine but tbh i just use it as a phone / text machine / web browser so not sure if i can gain anything from it.

Most the stuff is buggy as hell, I've done all my iPhones but always ended up deleting all the stuff I'd installed. For example, I did the themeing thing a while ago (cheers A2H GO - really good guide ) but ended up getting rid of it all because the bugs really irritated me.

You can't even change the voicemail number without jailbreaking.

If you don't fancy wasting £35+ a month on non-competitive contracts from O2 and the likes then you might need to change your voicemail number.

Really? Nothing frustrates me more than bugs/lag or something not quite working right and I'm still running the theme with no issues at all.

That said, some of the tweeks are buggy and make the phone run like shit, for example Spire (siri) and Zephyr (multitasking tweak) made my phone lag, uninstalled and its perfect again. Just got to be careful not to overdo it.

One of my favourite tweeks is Fakeclockup...I compared my iP4 side by side to the Mrs 4S, going through apps like settings, facebook, TomTom etc and its faster. I'm pretty sure Apple just sped up the animations a bit on the 4S Had a go of a 4 the other day without it and it felt sooooo slow.

Also, it's great for trying before you buy (although frowned upon by some). For example I wanted to find a decent twitter app as the free ones not great, so I downloaded a few paid ones for free, tried them all and decided Tweetbot was by far the best so went and bought it.
