I have an Xbox 360 and have just got a ps3, I'd say there's good and bad points about both. The ps3 aesthetically and spec wise is probably better, plus you don't have to pay for online gaming, but for gameplay itself you can't beat the 360.

Games is the issue with Kinect although there are a load of titles being release this year. What about keep hold of the PS3 until the Xbox720 shows up?

If you play online, just get whatever your mates have got, if its just for the house to have some fun, xbox, if you want kinect (i personally think its shite) then buy a xbox. Simples
