I run the Nankang NSII in 185/45 on my o.z. route's, not had any problems with them, they're a perfectly fine tyre for my needs as they're the only brand that i can find in the size i need for the slight stretch

woudln't trust them myself, a mate of mine constantly refers to them as "not good enough to use ona wheel barrow!"

my MX5 came with two Nagkangs fitted and they certainly do no grip in the wet, and the dry isnt brilliant.....a positive is they do last forever

doesnt matter how many ponys the cars got imo. i dont trust any budget tyres, iv had many and there all purely dangerous. most cheap ones last longer but still have a hunt about.
i got x4 brand new uniroyal rainsports (best tyre iv had by far!!!) for the original price of £125. two appeared to of been fitted but not run. i questioned the seller via ebay about this and had no response, after our radgey lass opened a case and still no response i got a full refund for them
but still £125 for x4 mint grip in all conditions is deffo worth a hunt about for

toyo proxies arent good tyre however, they have a good name for them selves and grip is ok in the dry however isnt mint and is canny crap in the wet, and they only last 5 mins imo

uniroyals or khumo ku31's ftw

how did that happen

Not sure mate, tyres never had any splits on them or anything, I used to have them off quite regular to clean them and nothing dodgy was ever spotted. Just went bang without warning!

Uniroyals aren't bad tyres really, probably the best mid-range tyre there is.

I had Pirelli P-Zero Asymmetric's on my 17's and they were damn good!

Donner I was always told Nankang were good for stretch tyres, because of how soft they are.

When I picked up my Speedlines, I decided to put a new set of rubber all round, was looking on eBay and online tyres shops for weeks to get a decent deal, ended up getting them fromMY TYRES, paid £58 a corner for Falken ZE-912 in 195/40/16 which is the rare size on the 16's, was the cheapest price by about £4 from anywhere else, just had a pay a mate to fit them, was still cheaper than what any garage could get them supplied & fitted
