2 possible ways that I can think of would be using all the front end running gear and possibly the rear hubs from a 4x4 cav etc, and rebuild the rear end of the corsa with a roll cage style frame work to support it all, or my personal route would be to buy a bog stock corsa, completley rip out the floor section and build a space frame chassis for it, then the body would mount on it similar to a kit car, this is the method I used on a mk1 golf many years ago, this will also give you solid points to tie a roll cage into and a very stiff car.

a fella i know put a cavalier sri engine into the back of a metro, and converted it to rwd etc. as far as i know he cut the floor out of the back of the metro and welded the chassis legs of the cavalier in so he had the basis for the mounts. after that i dunno sorry. then he fleeced the shit outta it and then removed the engine and crushed the metro. lol. he is a foreman in an engineering firm also. and at the minute hes doing a rwh astra with sri engine in back.

find out what the company in ipswich is please!
its just upthe road from me soi will go and report back to you!
best way is to do it like a kit car, like k100rsa says with a space frame chasis, that way you just weld in engine mounts etc, but that would mean dismantling your whole car!! and chopping and changing it so much, hot rods have a space frame chasis like that with say a corsa body shell on top! will be very noisey to drive though!

its all well and good fittin the engine but the 3 other MAJOR issues are
fittin the gear linkages and findin a way to link the 2 cluthes to the pedal
connectin the throthle cables to work for bough engines
and finally and most importantly havin the two engines the exact same spec and horse power.(can be sorted by a rollin road) cos if theengines arnt the same hp the chassis will get fucked from stress.
there was a twin engine audi tt turbo a couple months back in top gear magazine.
it cud get up to 220 mph but at that speed all airflow and hit comes into play.
u also hav to consider steerin, with hat amoint of weight in such a small car then it will be a bitch to even steer the thing
