and the fact that ur slapping in a 2.0 16v which could be from a astra or cali, and this is a corsa site people wont know cos its not a corsa engine and very few people use twin 40s cos their not all that compared with TBs which people go for, mug

your twin 40's will be useless on the c20xe, too small, need 45's or 48's.
If your asking questions like
'will I still need my ecu' then I'd go to a professional and let them deal with it.
You will need a new ecu of sorts to control the ignition. Thats a few hundred quid.
You'll obviously also need a new inlet manifold, linkage, trumpets, filters, fpr, petrol tanker of fuel, and the money and inclanation to get the carbs set up every 6 months. Plus getting them set up in the first place.

Miles actually has a 1.6 16v throttle bodied nova. Think he had a 1.4 16v with a mantzel box before that. You shouldn't pass comments on people you don't know anything about.
As said this is a corsa site and not everyone has 2litres. Migweb is the better site for these kind of questions. No need to get so arsey.

Where did any of them say they paid to get their work done
No need to get sarky when folk give advice. If people are willing to share their knowledge then maybe other people should be more apprectiative.
Don't know where u get the impression they don't know about cars from, statements like this;
"You'll obviously also need a new inlet manifold, linkage, trumpets, filters, fpr, petrol tanker of fuel, and the money and inclanation to get the carbs set up every 6 months. Plus getting them set up in the first place."
usually mean they know something.
Rant over

wtf?
I have a decent car with a decent spec'd engine that I built myself (in my shed with the help of a mate) on a budget. I've discovered that garages are a waste of money and you can normally do a better job yourself.
If your asking these simple questions then you will stuggle big time to do it yourself.
Go on mig and watch them all rip it!
You can stick my advice up your arse cock boy.

so what you saying then ??????? its ok for luca2020 to call me a cock, but its not ok for me to comment. i asked the questions to make conversation with every one and to get as much information on the job, not just the questions i asked on but other things to look out for. the carbs r on a manifold with trumpets and linkages.
is this site just for the standard corsa owners ????? NO. its for people of all kinds of corsa,s from bodykits to engine mods, which is why i asked on here.
many thanks for all of your help.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i called u a cock for slating a very good site, u spat ur dummy out early doors cos no1 answered, no1 answered cos the question was a rare 1 of which nearly everybody wont know about cos ur talking about engines that dont come with corsas and hardly anybody use twin carbs cos their not all that efficient and require adjusting often
migweb is a site for all vauxhalls and the people on their are very technical minded and im sure ull get a very good answere their
