i U2Ud lee, does the £1500 include the fitting kit, or is that just the engine and labour? As in would brakes/suspension etc be on top of that? My head gasket is leaking and i cant decide if i should just keep it topped up with oil for the next nine months then scrap it when i get the conversion, or get a new C14SE for now until the conversion, so i need to know how much to budget for it!

quoted £260 for it, and its done 122k miles already, so as i said i dont wanna waste money on it if i dont have to. I might just keep it topped up and hope for the best. I might try and change it myself with the help of the haynes manual tho!
