has anyone removed there rubber strips on the side of there cars? I've been priced £400 to get it done on my corsa c.

diy - just heat them gently and they peel off. Bpdyshop should charge around £20 to do it for labour costs

they dont even need heating up that much, a semi powerful hair dryer is all you need, i did mine with my mums salon style hairdryer and a plastic fingernail tool to get the edges up

No holes.... nice and smooth see....
Did it my self with a hairdryer / hot water / my nails / and about 1hour of my time....

Also done the boot

well i took em off my 1993 model last summer and there was no discolouration that didnt come off with t-cut, u can never tell they were ever there on mine.

i got a corsa c, i went to a garage near me n asked if the paint underneath was a different colour after i take the rub strips off how much it wud be for them to spray it if i can't get them out. they sed £500.. so maybe thats what they meant with the £400 price
