Untethered is out for 4.3.1
How can i upgrade to 4.3.1 without losing all the apps i've downloaded whilst being jailbroken. I will be jailbreaking the 4.3.1 obviously

Sorry iphone changing words lol the phone i was doing last night was a unthered 4.3.1 but ultrasnow (unlock) wouldnt work so i did it again with a theared break! The unlock should work with untheared in about a week when they update it.

Yeah I kinda made sense what you were saying lol that's why I said I'll wait until it's confirmed to be working properly.
Simon I'm not sure how well it works as I haven't had the chance to try it yet as I haven't re-jailbroken, but you can download an app I think it's called PNG backup? Which basically saves all your jailbreak data as a contact, so when you rejail break you load this contact and I presume you'll get all your settings back. Not sure about the apps mind you.

whats best to use with an iphone 3g on its latest update?
Got it sorted on 4.2.1 with an older version of redsnow and then ultrasnow for the unlock, all this after going swimming with it and it restoring itself and updating when i dried it out and plugged it in

Just backed up my old man's 3G and tried to JB.. Made an arse of it and tried to restore using that back up and it's gave me a clean install. The backups gone and so are all his apps and numbers etc. Fantastic.
