You have to hold it upside down, while doing a handstand, then press up, up, down down, left , A, B, up. Can't believe people don't know this by now.

I think it's something about moving your eyes in a certain pattern.

My FB wall consisted of numerous "can't wait to ditch my iPhone, hello S4!" posts and now is full of frustrated "how do you do X" and "why is there no X app" and "I want my iPhone back" posts.

They only stop working because they have grubby fingers and crap gets in the gap.
Least it's an easy enough fix, better hope you don't break your S3/S4 home button/screen.

Everything i've read and heard seems to suggest it's wear 'n' tear on the cable assembly underneath the cable.

I've fixed numerous and in 99% of cases it just needs cleaning. Coincidentally googling 'galaxy S3 home button not working' brings up over a 1.3million results, compared to just 300,000 for 'iphone home button not working'. If you're going to pick fault at least pick a decent one like antennagate or the purple flare shiz
Since when has S3/S4 home button been capacitive
iPhone also has a choice of both
