As I said pages back, at least 64 bit is ahead of the curve. Won't mean anything in reality though.

Probably would not be able to anyway as the iPhone 5 available in the USA is still not the global version so according the apple nerds I spoke to it won't work in the UK.
Some of the LTE bands aren't supported on the US version; otherwise it'll work fine.
Different version according to apple nerds. The product code confirmed this.
Again, US version doesn't support all of the LTE bands available in the UK. Otherwise, it'll work fine.
So it will work fine until it goes wrong and then you have to buy a flight back to the USA and take it back. Good business AGAIN

I didn't mention anything about warranties, just stated that the phone will work to some extent in the UK - which was the original question.

I'm not pretending to be knowledgable hence asking what the benefits are.
Clearly though it doesn't take a genius to see 120fps recording, a 64bit architecture and a fingerprint sensor squeezed into a home button that (on first impression) works brilliantly are pretty big advances in less than 12 months, fan boy or no fan boy.
People slate apple for not leading the way then make up excuses about it being done before, referencing some ancient tech that barely resembles Apples implementation when they do.
First hands on of the sensor are looking good...

In a fan of apple, and currently using 5, having used the 4 before.
Not interested in 5s at all. Gimmick fingerprint is cool like Siri was for 5 mins

to be fair, they did say at the start that 50% of users dont even put a password on, so from that perspective i can see why it might be a good idea. the pay thing is good too.

Credit where credits due, its very slick.
I was expecting to be slow and cumbersome.

Really impressed with it. Currently on a 4s, so quite a jump.
Will be preordering it on the 20th.

Apparently not. Even took me by surprised, fair play to them.
As for not being useful, this is just the start, my phone will be more secure as I could never be arsed with a passlock. No more entering passwords for App Store purchases either.
I guess they could use it for multi profiles on iPad since it stores multiple prints too.
