MW2 is getting annoying beyond belief.
Far too many campers now. Spawning is a sham. once there is a chopper gunner or AC130 the whole game goes tits up. Akimbo fucks me off big time.
There is no gameplay any more you either get shot by c a camper or some twat with Akimbo.
Back to Rainbow six i go.
Rant over.

I really don't get all the MW2 hate in this thread.
The game offers such a big variety of game play.
Mike, you say that the game has far too many campers and people using akimbo. Bit of a contradiction that, is it not?

But still, with the amount of time people have put in to playing this game, it kinda goes without saying that you get fed up at some point.
That it takes in excess of 48 hrs of non stop gaming to reach that point only proves that this is one solid game.

Have to agree with Balling. Campers piss me right off, but it's massively satisfying when you outwit them. And if people keep mullering you with akimbo weapons, you need to rethink your strategy.

hi guys im having nothing but bother trying to play this game on my ps3. every time i load it up i get a dns error and then when it does eventually load and stay online (very rare) the downloading settings message wont go from the bottom of the screen. if it does, all of a sudden the servers go down so i cant play it? the one time i did get online i couldnt accept invites from my friends as it just came up with error messages, and when i tried to send an invite to my friend it kept saying dns error. how can i sort this as i really want to play this game on my ps3 im just fed up with it not working at all. tbh its ruined my cousins christmas this aswell as he is having similar problems and ringing sony offers no help.
what can i do to make this console work online? or is it just not possible. genuine request for help. dont want idiots replies.

Hi Nic,
we have around 15-20 of us online from CS, we dont ever have any problems with parties or accepting invites, maybe check your router or NAT settings if the problem is occuring.

all have been checked as every other online device in the house works perfectly well. even other online gaming machines work fine. the ps3 is plugged in via the cable to the router so its not a wi fi problem. it seems its just simply impossible for this machine to work online. what can i do?

You just invite people, they join your session and you are party leader

this is a genuine request for help. ive said i dont want any idiot replies. i cant get it to work online. it struggles to stay signed in to psn without getting a dns error. how can i fix this or is it not possible to be fixed and should mainly be used for offline gaming? my cousin and a few of my friends also suffer the same problems. its widely reported on the internet also as having major difficulties online. so how are you lot playing online? i suggest you are not and are just telling tales. internet says it doesnt work so i might take it back. sales of goods act, not fit for purposes its advertised for. online gaming ha.

maybe a picture of the DNS fault would help as no one else in this thread has ever had the fault you have? I would maybe phone your ISP first. Sounds more like a network problem with your internet.
